This ski was mounted last week and was skied JUST ONE DAY because we were curious what she could do. And SHE ROCKS!
The lightweight freeride ski that can conquer bell to bell resort laps one day and explore far-out backcountry zones the next, the LINE Vision 108, re-imagines what is possible for freeride skis. Stable at speeds, surfy in the deep, light in the air, and easy to control, the Vision 108 is perfect for ripping the entire mountain one day and conquering dawn patrol the next.

Not your grandfather's AT Ski.....This setup was skied mostly by the shop owner....and combines a burly front-side ripper of a ski with a frame-based AT binding. This setup is less for long back country hauls and more for getting up the mountain on foot and not compromising from ripping fast GS turns on the way down.
The Declivity 92 Ti is designed and built for all-mountain versatility, with more of a focus on firm snow and frontside performance than we've traditionally or historically seen from Armada. Sure, they had the Invictus line, but these Declivity skis are taking frontside performance to the next level. There are some popular skis in this category, but the Declivity 92 Ti sets itself apart from the pack with a slightly more playful feel and a little more compliance for different turn shapes and styles, which is really fun when you're ripping turns on firm snow. Armada starts with a lightweight Caruba wood core then adds in their new Articulated Titanal Banding. The titanal layer of the ski has slits cut into it in the forebody with an elastic compound in between those slits. It's designed to let the ski enter a turn more easily, but as you're loading up energy in that turn, you're engaging the elastic compound, creating kinetic energy, and releasing it when you transition into the next turn. It's all packaged into a directional shape with a good amount of tip rocker for a ski in this category and some slight early taper, too.
Combine the reliability and power of a 13-DIN alpine binding with the free-heel freedom of an AT binding, and you have the Marker Baron 13 EPF Ski Binding. Built on Marker's Extended Power Frame, the Baron sits on a wide chassis, giving it the ability to drive wide, big mountain boards with authority. To keep them manageable on the ascent, the Barons feature Marker's Hollow Tech frame, which is a gas-injected hollow construction that is light, powerful, and dependable whether you're spinning laps in the resort, or accessing big backcountry lines. The Backcountry Technology allows the binding to be converted from ski to walk mode with the quick flick of a switch, while a three-position climbing aid lets you adjust the heel riser between three positions to get the right angle for the slope you're climbing. The integrated anti-ice rail on the top of the toe-piece allows you to scrape ice and snow off the sole of your boot before stepping into the binding, making the Baron EPF right at home in sub-freezing high alpine terrain.

This was a carryover ski from last season and was lightly used, mostly buy the shop owners on touring days this season. It rips both up and down the mountain!
The Trace 98 is a great lightweight ski equally comfortable on groomers, in crud and in trees. Built with the backcountry journey in mind, the 98 features metal-reinforced binding pads to absorb bumps and vibrations and provide a little extra security when looking for fresh snow beyond resort boundaries.
