The Junior Mantra features a wide shape, offering floatation in soft snow with an ideal match between its Camber profile and a smooth flex. This ski comes without Titanium layer as younger skiers lack the necessary weight to benefit its riding characteristics. With a hot graphic as well, this go-to junior ski gets even better for the upcoming season. Full Sidewall - Direct and strong power transmission with full-length sidewalls. Full Sensor Woodcore - The full sensor construction features hardwood in the binding area but—contrary to the speedwall wood core—a lighter wood under the screws and in the outer areas. This results in very sporty and agile skiing characteristics, especially suited for youngsters and freeriders. - Rocker: Tip & Tail Rocker - Core: Full Sensor Woodcore, Beech/Poplar - Skiing Level: Beginner, Intermediate
With its 3D.RIDGE construction, designed to reduce the ski's wEight while increasing stability and smoothness, the 90Eight is an incredibly versatile all-mountain ski that handles anything from bumps, to trees, to groomers, and even powder and crud. The early-taper sidecut and precision-matched flex allow you to steer it anywhere you want to go to rip up the mountain with an easy, cruisy feel. 3D.GLASS - 3D.GLASS is Völkl’s latest development to furthermore improve overall ski performance and stability even in critical snow conditions. Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns. MULTILAYER WOODCORE - The combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood around. 3D.RIDGE - Central Woodcore Ridge with super-slim wings to significantly reduce wEight and swing wEight and keep the stability where necessary. Our 3D.Ridge technology - is probably the most extreme and effective construction technique that currently exists. It has become a symbol of VÖLKL lightwEight construction. The distinctive characteristic of this technology is a raised central ridge that sharply levels out towards the edges, both in front of and behind the binding. This reduces the inertial mass around the fulcrum to a minimum and significantly enhances the agility of the ski. At the same time, the center ridge allows for a precise dimensioning of the hardness distribution, which leads to an especially harmonious flex on the ski. Despite the wEight savings, the 3D.Ridge ensures that there are no compromises in the ski‘s durability and elasticity. CARBON STRINGERS - Additional band of carbon in the layup for direct transmission, agility and life. FULL SIDEWALL - Direct and strong power transmission with full length sidewalls. MODERATE TAPER - Moderate setup of tapered tips for an all-mountain oriented combination of precision on piste and easy handling off piste. BASE P-TEX 2100 - A sintered high-density and high-molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability
The Blaze series is for those who want to ride free without any restrictions but with the full control of a sportive off-piste ski. The concept of the ski targets the intuitive freerider who appreciates a playful and at the same time agile and sportive maneuverability. At 106mm under the binding, The Blaze 94 weighs only 1546g (@ 179cm) and is built for an extremely wide range of use in all off-piste conditions. At just 0.3mm thick, the Titanal binding platform provides direct power transfer and a fast pressure built-up from one edge to another. This gives the ski a most direct response right from the turn initiation. In order to preserve the full flexibility and agility, there is intentionally no Titanal included in the tip and the tail. Especially in narrow and rough terrain, you will directly benefit from the ski's faster and more direct reaction and with less effort required. The 3D radius sidecut significantly enhances the ski's liveliness and maneuverability. The Blaze construction targets the short turn-oriented skier but the 3D radius together with the tip-to-tail Hybrid Multilayer woodcore adapts to basically every riding style. A great new feature is the Suspension Tip which makes its debut in the Blaze series. This elastic rubbery material on the edges of the tip and the tail acts like a bumper every time the ski gets in contact with the snow in wind-blown or tracked conditions. The shock-absorbing elasticity ensures not only the resistance but also provides great lift off-piste. 3 Radius Sidecut - Three radii in one ski for maximum turning & speed versatility in all mountain skiing Full Sidewall - Direct and strong power transmission with full-length sidewalls. Titanal Binding Platform - A thin Titanal layer (0.3mm) under the binding delivers the necessary strength to the ski. This way the binding screws offer reliable hold even in the toughest conditions. Suspension Tips & Tails Inserts made of elastic TPU material on the edges of the tip and tail which act like a bumper in wind-blown or tracked snow. Its shock-absorbing elasticity ensures better stability and catch-free float. - Rocker: Tip & Tail Rocker - Core: Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore, Poplar/Beech - Base: P-Tex 2100 - Skiing Level: Advanced, Professional
Covered in mythical creatures and spirit animals comes this tip & tail rocker ski with Full Sidewall, 3D Radius Sidecut, and a durable P-Tex 2100 base. The iconic Mantra was the first ski of its kind to master everything from powder to ice with ease - introducing the next all mountain benchmark, the M5 Mantra. The key innovation on the 5th generation Mantra is a new way of arranging the metal layers called Titanal Frame: the metal sections follow the ski shape in the tip and tail, with an added carbon inlay in the tip. This intricate construction is lighter in weight, with the same damping properties as a full sheet of metal. Its new shape is 134-96-117mm, with a tightened radius of 19.8m in size 177. Tip and Tail Rocker design with camber underfoot, and Full Sidewall construction round out the setup. Yet another new performance standard for all mountain freeride skis. TITANAL FRAME - More damping and stability over the full length of the ski MULTILAYER WOODCORE - The combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood around. MODERATE TAPER - Moderate setup of tapered tips for an all-mountain oriented combination of precision on piste and easy handling off piste. FULL SIDEWALL - Direct and strong power transmission with full-length sidewalls.
